Explosions heard bensalem parx casino

Not sure if this is fully resolved yet, I rather doubt it, but it's not the big issue it used to be. My question was why Parx, Borgata and other north east casinos currently avoiding tournament poker?įor a long time, there weren't enough dealers. Maybe they lightened up post-COVID, I don't play there very often so I cannot say. If Parx is still using antiquated societal norms to exclude dealers, they are purposefully removing prospective employees from their ranks. I was in a situation where I did not need the job and I was not prepared to cut my hair for an on call dealing job I didn't desperately need.Īt this point I have a very long beard in addition to my long hair and I still have been able to deal at other casinos without problems.

They didn't hire men with long hair, even if it was restrained, even if it was put into a bun. Maybe post-COVID has changed their views but I passed an audition several years back to deal on call and tournaments but they saw my long hair restrained behind my back and said I had to cut it. One possible impediment is that they have strict rules about appearance, or at least they did.

The difficulty of that is what led him to turn down the offer. Take this for what it’s worth but a guy at Philly live a few weeks ago claims he was offered a job to organize big stax, the biggest part of which would have been hiring 90 dealers.
